Classes
of all stripes, for all types
We offer a smorgasbord of single-event and multi-week classes in yoga, creative expression, executive functioning, and psycho-education. Whether you need practical tips for parenting a neurodiverse child or have a teen who wants to publish a chapbook, we have something for you! Check out our blog for our latest offerings.
REACH (Regulating Emotions through Acceptance, Change, and Hope)
REACH provides a strong toolkit for teens struggling with overwhelming emotions, impulsivity, self-destructive behavior, and interpersonal conflict. We use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based therapeutic technique, to teach four core concepts: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. Our group leader, Anna, is trained through Marsha Linehan, the founder of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Families are an essential component in the adolescent’s healing, and parents are encouraged to attend additional brown-bag lunches to learn how best to support their child.
REACH is available for high schoolers. We meet on Mondays from 4:30-6:00 PM. We offer three six-week modules (Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills). Participants are welcome to join REACH at the start of any module; they may come for one module or stay for all three. Snacks are plentiful and wholesome!
Cost:
-
$240 per module
-
$620 for three modules ($100 savings)

Executive Functioning Coaching
Executive functioning is a term used to describe a set of cognitive skills that helps someone keep themselves managed and organized. Levels of executive functioning exist and may fluctuate across the lifespan. Some people experience executive dysfunction, which is when their executive functioning skills do not help them stay as organized as others. Executive functioning coaches assist individuals who struggle with organization, time management, task management, and other related challenges. They help those who need an extra helping hand figure out where to start a task, how to use a planning tool, how to identify time management deficits, and reduce anxiety related to task completion.
