A psychological assessment is a roadmap to help you understand your unique brain and personality. Assessments facilitate more effective treatment and offer you guidance in decision-making. We provide comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, in a wide range of issues including academic and occupational difficulties, mood dysregulation, emotional and social functioning, behavioral issues, and more.
Full Diagnostic Evaluation
If you or your child is struggling at school, at home, with friends, or in life, seeking help can feel scary, and sometimes it is hard to know where to start looking. A comprehensive diagnostic evaluation can help. These evaluations help determine if an individual meets diagnostic criterion for ADHD, anxiety disorder, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or another specific psychiatric diagnosis. Comprehensive diagnostic evaluations are personal and comprehensive, and include a 90-minute intake session with the patient and parents/guardians (if applicable), school report measures (if applicable), and neuropsychological testing. Once the assessment is completed, Dr. Hunt will have a conversation with you to explain her findings and offer suggestions as to what to do next. A brief written report is provided. This assessment is available for children ages five and older, adolescents, and adults.
